Scribblings

People think that their worth is what they have, what they obtain. That's just what is consumed. The true worth of a person, a people, a culture, a society... is what is left behind. And how long they leave it for.

The Internet will always be as splintered as the humanity that 'share' it.

Think on how many people carry their broken swords unknowingly. (Narsil reference; reference book - not movie.)

The first time I stepped in on someone's behalf, I got knocked in the head with a baseball bat. You'd think I would remember that, but I have an advantage: I've had worse than many have to offer and I know it. I've also learned to avoid getting knocked too often. Maybe I should open a bat franchise?
